Acondicionan viviendas para albergar turistas en la festividad Virgen de la Candelaria

A falta de oferta hotelera en Puno, se ha dispuesto que un buen número de viviendas sean habilitadas para albergar a los turistas que arriban a esta ciudad, con motivo del desarrollo de la Festividad de la Virgen de la Candelaria, declarada por la UNESCO como Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad.

Henry Catacora Mayta, director regional de Turismo y Comercio Exterior, indicó que existe una norma de la Municipalidad Provincial de Puno para acondicionar viviendas, las que tendrán una autorización municipal para recibir a los turistas.

El funcionario agregó que también se ha dispuesto la construcción de tribunas especiales para los turistas que observarán el paso de los grupos de danzas, que a partir de la declaratoria de Patrimonio Cultural, se espera que la fiesta a la Virgen de la Candelaria congregue a miles de visitantes.

Dijo, que principalmente se espera a visitantes nacionales, porque muchos puneños que radican en otras regiones arriban a Puno.
