Adiós a la privacidad: Científicos advierten que los robots-mosquito robarán muestras de ADN

Los profesores de Harvard han ofrecido en el Foro Económico Mundial en Davos una visión poco atractiva del futuro próximo donde robots-mosquito volaran alrededor robando nuestro ADN, asegurado que la privacidad ya está totalmente «muerta».
«Bienvenido a la actualidad. Ya estamos en ese mundo», ha declarado este jueves la profesora en Ciencias de Computación de la Universidad de Harvard, Margo Seltzer, durante el Foro, informa el periódico ‘The Daily Mail’. «La privacidad, como lo conocíamos en el pasado ya no es posible…», añadió.

Otra investigadora en genética de Harvard, Sophia Roosth, dijo que era «inevitable» que la propia información genética personal entrara más y más en la esfera pública. La científica señaló que los agentes de inteligencia ya les pidieron recopilar información genética de los líderes extranjeros para determinar cosas como la susceptibilidad a las enfermedades y la esperanza de vida.

Seltzer también imaginó un mundo en el que pequeños drones robóticos del tamaño de un mosquito volarían alrededor de nosotros extrayendo muestras de ADN para luego realizar un análisis que respondería a los intereses del gobierno o, por ejemplo, una empresa de seguros.

«Las invasiones de la privacidad serán más generalizadas», predijo la profesora. «No es si esto va a suceder, ya está sucediendo… Vivimos en un estado de vigilancia en la actualidad».
